I'm sure the Suns wouldn't mind trading Isaiah Thomas for the right package.  "The right package" doesn't strike me as Thomas and one of their first round draftees for a potential Jeff Green rental of a few months.

I think the Suns wouldn't consider it. TJ is a really good prospect and they probably know it, Isiah Thomas is an important part of their team. We would definitely need to give up more - maybe a very late first.

This works and it really depends on how much the Suns think of TJ Warren long-term:

I am biased as I am an NC State fan (my older brother and my daughter graduated from their Chemical Engineering program) and I therefore got to see a LOT of TJ.  He can flat score the ball and score it efficiently.  He does NOT have consistent NBA 3-point range yet, but I truly think he can develop that.  He is an average to slightly below average defender, but is a good rebounder for a SF and does seemingly have long arms.

Would we have to give up a second rounder or two here?  IDK.

Thoughts??
