Has Rondo made any clutch throw this season? He got to have some serious mental problem in regard to shooting free throw under pressure.

But he played great D on Westbrook, especially in the 4th (the best I've seen him defend this season). Rondo's a bad free throw shooter, he's even worse this year. Is it really a surprise.

I wouldn't exactly call them clutch F/T considering they were up 5 with like 8 or 9 secs. Important F/T, yes, clutch naw.

Teams will begin to foul him soon enough.

All that matters is the W. He played great but he's a bad FT shooter. It's obviously twice as bad as recent years statistically but anyone expecting his FT% to change overnight from his flight from BOS to DAL is crazy.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

and played great defense , was a floor general and got everyone their shots .

he missed 2 when they were up 5 with 8 seconds left .  He actually should be strictly a inbound passer at end of games situations and just stay away from the ball when there is that little time left .

Leave it to CB to still pick apart every one of Rondo's shortcomings when he isn't even on the team anymore

And that Westbrook missed two that actually mattered
I'm bitter.

Rondo may have missed the free throws, but the Mavs won.  I warched, it was a highly entertaining
Game as opposed to the Celtics (MY Celtics) who are virtually unwatchable now.  Thanks, Danny.  :'(

Strongly agree, and Ellis can easily step in to handle the ball. Parsons too, if need be.

ha, ha...cb, where every thread ends in a rondo debate. and by the way, didnt rondo finish with a line something such as 15 pts, 7 assists and 6 rebounds? not bad.

rondo stinks at free throws. no news there.

EDIT: just saw someone beat me to posting rondo's line.

let me try to cheer you up a bit.  :D

right at this very moment brooklyn has a 13-16 record, are conducting a fire sale of their three stars, the owner is incompetent, they are trying to sell the team (so NO large commitments for new stars are likely), their salary situation is awful, and even if the stars stay they are aging ungracefully and often injured.

brooklyn has all the makings of being a possible p--- poor team for the next 3-4 years.

now the reason for christmas cheer....

the celtics have the rights to brooklyn nets draft picks in 2016, 2017 (swap), and 2018. i honestly believe the nets will be stuffing the celtics draft stocking very well for years to come.

ho, ho, ho...and a happy new year too.  ;D
