That's a humongous overpay for Noel.

Great words from a great man

never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever trade sully

I'm pretty sure Sully isn't untouchable and very usable in a trade for either a legit center or high draft pick.

Why though?  There is absolutely no reason to trade him for a center or a draft pick.  There is no way we get a high draft pick for him, point blank.  He's a young talented player whose attractive for a rebuilding team, and the rebuilding team would most likely rather develop young talent then put assets into getting sully.  Theres no rush.  Next would we even trade him for a draft pick (because we are not getting a high draft pick for him, that was dream land) when we could only pray that the draft pick develops into what sully has already become.  I can very easily see sully turning into a 20 and 10 guy, not to mention hes a big body who I believe is underrated on the defensive end.  Last, why would we trade him for a "legit center" when danny has made it more than clear he wants to develop through the draft.  We have 10 draft picks in the next three years (give or take) why would we gamble on a player to fill sully's shoes when we could just draft one and keep sully.   Not to mention (make fun of this all you want) I believe we have a proven core already in pace.  For such a young team to be capable of what we are on the offensive end I am extremly impressed at.  I don't want to touch our already in place core, because I believe once we acquire a true rim protector we can see what this team is 100% capable of.  And as of right now one of our two best players in that core, is far and away sully.  The guy is 22 and on a rookie contract, it doesn't make sense to me at all.

Embiids name being brought up is absolutely ridiculous.  What makes you think the sixers would even consider moving joel embiid.  Especially for KO and James Young.  Also, why in the world would we need to trade for a "young rim protector" if you have us drafting Karl Towns.  He would be our Center of the future and a capable rim protector.

But to be honest, as much as I like Nerlens Noel I would just say use our pick to draft a quality center.  Towns, Myles Turner, (Maybe Okafur, doubt it though), even cauley stein if we get a 10-15 draft pick would all be serviceable starting centers.  I say rebuild through the draft because, 1. I like KO as a player 2. I like KO with the players we have around him a lot more 3. I trust Danny Ainge.  But thats just me.  I can see making a move for Nerlens though because with the 2 or 3 extremley touted centers in this years draft class Nerlens is the odd man out.

that in spades.
