Trade Proposal

This trade I propose won't solve everyone's problems. It won't make the Celtics a playoff contender nor will it dramatically improve their rebuild, and it won't necessarily make the Suns one either.

But this trade will help balance each team's roster just a little bit more while they work toward bigger deals.

Suns trade Miles Plumlee, Anthony Tolliver and Isaiah Thomas to Celtics for Avery Bradley and Brandon Wright

I like Wright better than Plumlee but if that would facilitate the Thomas for Bradley swap then I'd do it. Really like the idea of Isiah Thomas starting with Smart until we find a permanent option to run with Smart at either the one or the 2 (Reggie Jackson?) at which point IT moves to the bench as a super 6th man.

That's a potent guard rotation with Young developing at the 2/3.

Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.
