smart fights over top of screens as good or better than anyone and Zeller pick and roll should be taught to everyone  especially kelly-zeller timing and pivot are as good as it gets-these other guys got to hit him when he's wide open, zeller also draws charges well, doesn't lean or shy away from contact,he takes the hit.

Smart passed the ball well today and played some outstanding defense, he wasn't aggressive looking for his shot enough for my taste though. Zeller continued his solid stretch of play, sad to not see him in there the final few minutes.

Good to see the understanding developing between these two.

A center is only as good as the passes he receives from the point

Smart and AB needed more big help with the picks. Not once did a big come up with a TO blitzing the ball handler. The bigs just back peddled and allow a front view open shot. Jack was a happy man today.

Smart played well, not amazing, but well. He seems to have more good than bad games. I think the game is still moving too fast for him and his ankle isn't 100%. He still has a bit of a limp at times. Hopefully with the long All Star break he'll get the rest he needs to get back to 100% and the game slows down for him like it did for KO last year.

He really needs to take more shots in the paint. Get a floater like Rondo. He seems to get to the paint quite a bit, but passes open 10 footers up to pass out to the three. The kid could make a living hitting shots around the 15 foot mark.

Zeller is starting to prove it wasn't all Rondo making him look good, and that he actually belongs in the starting line up with this team. Kids good and player hard.

Zeller always had a nice jump hook, decent hands and he could run.  These are his calling cards and should suprise no one.

zeller is playing well on offense, but IMO he should be a better defender than he''s been. he's big, reasonably athletic, and has good footwork, but i don't see much hustle from him on the defensive end. if he wants to take his game to the next level as a big man, that's where he needs to improve.

Smart threw a few passes I think he wishes he had back, and a few shots he will hit in the near future. Overall a decent night.
When ever the Celtics' needed more of a defensive presence he was always inserted into the game.
You can start to see what type of PG he will be, he won't be a flashy hotshot, or a daring passer, he will be the type of PG that allows his team to probe for the open man. I hope he takes the next step.
