Joey Dorsey, Tarik Black, Isaac Canaan, Nick Johnson, Clint Capela ... Rockets seeking taker on any of the above to make room for Josh Smith

We should be able to absorb any of these guys with what's left of the Humphries TPE. Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Capela, who was highly rated before the draft.

black is listed by ESPN as 6'11", if that's undersized 4 i don't know how you call bass and sullinger.

I'd be ecstatic if we got Capela for basically nothing.

One Capela pls Danny, I'd give up multiple second rounders for him. He's super raw, but has rim protector potential.

Black filled in well when Howard was out but he's not a shot blocker.  Capela is a project but he could be the Ibaka-type, athletic PF/C that the C's need.  He's worth a second rd pick.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

That would defeat the purpose of opening a roster spot for Smith.  But, a team like Houston could be interested in Nelson.  I expect that DA will find a playoff team that needs a veteran backup PG.

I know Ainge had some interest in Nick Johnson before the draft. He's a really athletic player and related to DJ so that's a plus.

Edit:
He has way more upside than Pressey, so I would waive him to make room for Johnson. I recall we were trying to obtain a 2nd rd pick, perhaps to draft Johnson, but couldn't get a deal agreed upon.

WALTHAM – Former Arizona guard Nick Johnson was among the NBA Draft prospects the Boston Celtics brought in for a second workout earlier this week, a league source told MassLive.com.

If the Celtics ultimately choose to acquire Johnson, they would likely need to acquire an additional pick. He is regarded as a possible second-rounder. Boston currently holds the sixth and 17th picks, but could look to add another selection or more later in the draft if they determine the circumstances right.

I'm not high on Capela, but for a TPE he might be worth the it. He certainly has potential.

I've also like Canaan from what I've seen, but I'm not sure he makes a lot of sense to bring on to this team.

Canaan and Black look like they can play in the NBA, and Capela is an interesting prospect.

The big issue is the roster crunch.

Don't let ESPN fool you. He measured 6-8, 6-7 w/out shoes, at the combine.
