Will he pull a Jordan Crawford and be out of the league this time next year?
Boston Celtics second-year big man Kelly Olynyk was nominated for Eastern Conference Player of the Week but lost out to Atlanta's Al Horford. Olynyk's stat line in Boston's four-game span last week that saw the team go 3-1: Team-best 19.8 points on 60.8 percent shooting overall (43.8 percent beyond the 3-point arc) with 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1 steal per contest. Olynyk scored a career-high 30 points during Monday's win in Philadelphia and was a team-best plus-52 in plus/minus this week. Olynyk is the first Celtics player nominated for Player of the Week this season.
So, Is KO the steal of his draft class?
Let's hope Kelly gets a boost from being noticed anyway.....Keep playing aggressively and you can go places you big lump!

I understand that he isn't necessarily the next big thing, but surely he is good enough to land a bench role on an average team. He has averaged over 12 ppg and 3 apg in his career (across four teams). I can name 100 players he should be playing over...weird.As for KO, good for him - a win yesterday would have sealed the deal. I hope he keeps it going.
