REALLY bad

We couldn't even buy a basket.

We need offense badly.

I actually like Marcus Smart however and do look forward to seeing him start more. I've been paying really close attention to him and I think that kid has the makings of a very good PG. He just needs a little more time.

Was nice seeing the new guys and I like the athleticism that Wright brings and Crowder gave us a couple of second chance possessions with offensive rbs.

But other than that, no one could score at all and Jameer Nelson kinda sucks.

We need scoring!

Also, is it me or is Sully in Brad's doghouse?

I notice he didn't play at the end of the game tonight and also didn't play at the end of the Wizards double OT game a couple weeks ago.

Brandan Wright for Isiah Thomas ;)

Really though, this teams needs somebody who can create offense off the bounce
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I'd like to give Wright a little more of a chance.

If Phoenix would be willing to swap Bradley for Isiah on Jan 15th, I'd be all for that.

We need a more consistent scorer at the 2. Also, am I the only one who gets driven insane by Turner?

He is so inconsistent from game to game.

Jeff Green and Avery Bradley can't initiate offense.

Nobody who can draw a double team consistently or beat the first line of defense off the dribble and draw a help defender.

= bad ratio of contested vs uncontested shots = low FG% and low scoring

Evan Turner is the Celtics best creative player off the dribble.

That is frightening reality.

That's Thorton's job.

Yes the offense was bad. Smart looked like he was having trouble running the offense, but that will get better with time.

Both Smart and Nelson need to put an emphasis on pushing the tempo, neither of them did that.

So far we have been a middle tier offense mostly due to the fact that we score the 3rd most transition points in the league and have the 6th best transition efficiency. Tonight we scored 0 transition points. If we don't push the pace and create transition opportunities we are going to struggle to score.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Tempo will be tough with them as Smart is not yet ready to make the quick decisions in the NBA and Nelson doesn't have the speed.

He should start.

We are a bad team but tonight was particularly messy.  Roles need to be redefined and the new guys need to learn the system.  Ultimately, I think we're going to be better... but still bad.
