Turner has been disappointing today. He needs to step up now that Rondo is gone. He is the most creative player off the dribble that Boston has. They need him to beat that first line of the defense and pass or shoot the ball.

Also Smart played like a rookie today.  I'm not sure if he ready to start.

Tentative on offense. Gotta drive the ball more.

..and why on earth is jameer in the game so long..

To what end? Another highly protected second round pick? At some point we need to extend minutes strictly to guys who have a future in Boston.

He did look like a rookie. But he has to play to get experience and grow as a player.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. He might be better served coming off of the bench for now.

I think we should keep starting him. He plays great d and we're going nowhere this season anyway. Let him get a lot of mins and develop his offense. He hasn't had a lot of NBA time yet with injury I think it'll come together

I will add that Zeller has been a revelation this year. No Rondo this game he still has 22 and 8. It's no fluke this guy deserves minutes

Bringing him back to the bench may kill some confidence. He just needs a talking to on how to be more aggressive, driving the lane and watch the tape of this game and see all the mistakes he made.

Keep starting him.

Give him 30+ minutes a night, and let the chips fall where they may. If he makes some mistakes, big deal, he's learning.

Rotations were not the kind if you really wanted to win no matter what.

Mixing in the newbees sorta iced the team a bit and heat played good team ball .

Heat played well......or we made them look great, ;D

Marcus Smart is shooting under 35% FG% and under 30% 3PT%.

All of his shots tonight were 3 pointers. On the season, 2/3rds of his shots are 3s.

I'm sure he has the green light to shoot 3s from the staff. I'd love to see him drive a bit more he's had some success this year when he's aggressive.

I'm concerned he can't beat his man off the dribble at this level. And if that's true, his long term value is dramatically reduced.

Has he tried to get past his man? I just think the staff is telling him to shoot the threes.
