Almost looking forward to this game more than the Patriots/Jets.  If KO has another good game does it count?  Bosh is out or are they even good enough with him for it to count?  Maybe only games against the Spurs and Cavs count, I can never tell.

Anyway, so looking forward to this game I can't stand it.  Hope Wright fits in although the 4/5 positions were already so crowded.  Crowder makes Green even more expendable, especially if he plays well.  Nelson might give us a PG who can actually stretch the floor out to the 3pt line which makes me wonder how the offense will look if Sully has some more space down low.

Can't wait!

Yes .....this is kinda of a yard stick to see if the Celtics have progressed.   Now that Stevens doesn't HAVE to showcase Rondo to prospective buyers while not getting much defensive effort in return sorta killed the show.

Heat is an established team or vets , playoff and championship experience , with a championship proven coach  ::).....cough .....if you will

So .....if Smart was 100 % and had a full year under his belt .....I d be more confident .

I wouldn't mind seeing Smart give Wade a knee in the nades.

After seeing the first half of the Pats/Jets, I'm definitely more excited for the Celts than the second half of the Pats.

The Pats game has FFB implications that overrides all for me.

Is Wright playing tonight?

Let's hope so. I'm excited to watch him play and hopefully excel in Boston's "system."

He should be a fine fit.

Brad is trying to build an offensive system similar to the ones that Dallas and San Antonio run... great spacing and ball movement.  If Wright was successful there, he should be successful here.  He'll need to spend his minutes next to a big who can shoot... Oly, Sully and Bass can all hit shots.

I'm so excited for tonight's game! It should give us a much better idea of where we stand post-Rondo, and I'm really excited to see how Stevens plans on integrating the new guys. Last I saw, Stevens said his starting lineup wasn't set yet. Would he possibly start Smart already>

Miami without Bosh isn't much better than say Detroit.  They do have some advantage of being at home.  The Celtics will probably play with more fight though.  I think the Celtics win but it is a pretty evenly matched game.

Be fun to see the new guys.  Wright and Crowder should see this as a chance to play more and show people something so they are probably fine with the trade overall.  Nelson could go either way.  It is a chance for him to play well and set himself up for next year or a trade to a contender but he may view it as just being stuck playing on a bad team.

Well, poo. Wade is out for tonight, too. I REALLY wanted to see Smart D him up. I guess seeing him D up Napier and Chalmers will have to work!

This Miami team wouldn't even win 20 games without Wade + Bosh. Should be an easy win.

Yep. I was really hoping tonight would at least start to guage where we are at post-Rondo, but Miami without Wade and Bosh is pretty much just as bad as the Timberpuppies. I guess we'll have to wait until Tuesday for a good test.
