Cuban has really rolled the dice.  Ellis is going to get PAID by somebody after this season.  How much of a discount is Rondo and Chandler going to have to take to bring all three back?

There is our good-ole Rondo with the missed layup! lol Seriously, though, Ellis is ridiculous.

A player like Ellis can fuel Rondo

Rondo needs guys like Ellis, KG to play better

Yep, this is the Rondo of old. This is the all-defensive team Rondo, not the one that was in Boston the last two years.

Not counting the injured players. Spurs don't have Duncan, Green, Splitter, or Ginobli and they're still making a game of it. Wow that team is deep

Oh my goodness gracious, Monta Ellis!
I remember a time where I thought trading Rondo for Ellis would have been a bad idea...

Now I was grateful we were able to get a protected late 1st rounder for Rondo before he left us with nothing.

So far Boston looks better... mavs look worse.  Let's see what both teams look like in a couple months.

Did anybody notice Dirk wasn't in on those final plays down the line? I thought coaches NEVER bench their best players at the end of close games.

I think Rondo will be great with Dallas.   I think it's sounding pretty clear that Rondo wasn't likely to stay in Boston.  So I am rooting for Rajon and for his Mavs to take the championship and then peter out in 2016 providing us with an 8 to 12 selection.

Rondo looked really good tonight. He boarded, assisted, and didn't dominate the ball. Clearly the rebuilding affected him greatly, and he's not a #1/best guy to lead a team. His skill set is maximized with better options around him.

After seeing the difference in Rondo tonight, this split might have been the best thing for both him and us. He's clearly reenergized playing with a better group. For us, the added ball movement and lack of ball domination will lead to a faster pace, more space and movement, and ultimately better basketball for us.

I still would've liked to get a better return for Rondo, though.

He was frigid tonight and super close to picking up a tech.

Same here, though if they happened to pooter out this year and give us a lottery pick I wouldn't mind either  ;D

Rondo looked down right rejuvenated. Must be nice for him to play meaningful games again.

You know what's funny, and yet also pathetic at the same time?  Rondo is averaging almost two more rpg than Dirk, who's a 7 footer.  Lol, really?  7.6 to 5.9.  Wow. ;D
