Showing what an elite pg looks like. Rondo is good and all, but he can't take over like Lillard. 43 in a 3ot game against San Antonio, and he shoots 87% on fts.

Kid has ice water in his veins. Lethal scorer from the PG position.

He's not wrong, Rondo can't do what Lillard can do, anymore than Lillard can do what prime-Rondo can do.

exactly.  Post ACL, Rondo just isn't the type of player who can take over via scoring, and he wasn't really before the injury either. And being able to shoot fts really helps close-out games. Rondo has some great skills, but he clearly isn't a closer ala lollard

43 points in 7 quarters is only a little over 6 points per. 43 in a normal game is much more impressive

Except that 5 minute ot periods aren't the same as 12 minute quarters.

Rondo is not lillard and Lillard is not rondo what are you trying to say that rondo is not elite?

Haven't you heard?  He's a lazy, grossly-overrated role player with a bad attitude (sarcasm). ::)  It's been said in almost every thread on this site - even the ones not pertaining to him, lol.  Eff Obama.

The only thing that Lillard is better at than Rondo is shooting, and, yes, I know that that is extremely important, but everything else that Rondo out on the court far outweighs any of his negatives, imo.

 :-X Math is hard.

I love Lillard, though. Fun player to watch on a fun team.
