Someone mentioned before, its because Rondo can't contribute to scoring, we play 4 on 5 in half court offense.

Replace elite playmaking with role player scoring and now we're playing 5 on 5.  No negative loss for our offense.  Maybe a slight positive.
Rondo can't contribute to scoring? Let's see how much KO or Sully scores with Pressey passing to them now.

Did alright yesterday w/o Rondo.

Elite playmaking is easily replaced by good team offense.

Dallas were the leading team ppg with Ellis 4.7 ast/g, Nelson 4.1 ast/g, Harris 4.0 ast/g.

Against the last place T-Wolves?

We didn't beat the Knicks w/Rondo 2pts.

Everyone got excited about Ronso's assists totals against Phi, Det, Orl, LA.

Games they've won. And the Knicks loss more on the team.

They did ok ......it wasn't easy for them ...the team either to go to battle without their court general Rondo......so cut them some slack .

Thornton , young are hurt

Smart may not be 100 %

All,this is knew to the team as well

So.....smart is a young rookie .....give the team time a year or so before deciding too much

It will take another dozen games to establish the new players and the plan with no Rondo

The whole team with or without Rondo was slowly getting better .

So .....no telling where they will be at years end .......if DA leaves them alone long enough to form a cohesive group.

I'm sorry our team looks like trash but we are supposed to be. Rondo is looking like he is a getting a second ring. That Mavs team looks scary good. Hopefully Jahlil makes us look that good next season.

Can't Rondo play well even though the team is playing poorly?  He's supposed to be a max contract guy.  Green and Zeller managed to show up that day.

The Wolves are terrible, every player has bad games, the Celtics lost to the Knicks because they played poorly.

And tonight Dallas barely beat the Spurs without Parker, Duncan, Leonard, and Ginobili.

Rondo was 3 for 11.

Dallas won by six points, yet Rondo had a team high +/- of +17. This means the team was a -11 when Rondo was on the bench. I'd say his 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals, along with a number of other plays that help set up his teammates for easy baskets was a pretty significant contribution. Dallas might very well have lost this game if not for Rondo.  Dallas' bench other than Devin Harris was terrible.

Why Pop didn't foul Rondo on every play in the fourth quarter I have no idea.

He could have easily won the game that way. Dallas almost lost to the Spurs without their starters. LOL

Dallas is not as good a team after the trade. No depth and a point guard who is no good in the fourth quarter. The starters will have to play big minutes and will break down over a long season. That draft pick this year might be worth something after all.

Knicks are terrible.

How many stars score less than 5 points 8 of 22 games.

Consistently inconsistent.  http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/rondora01/gamelog/2015/#pgl_basic::none

I'm sure there will be more excuses for the HOF, All-star, max contract player.

Oh yeah. That's why the Clippers would never worry about losing CP3. You just need good offense.

No. Against the T Wolves with no Rubio, no Brewer, and no starting center

I wouldn't go as far to say as they're not as good, but there's something there and many people outside BOS have made this point.

Dallas's offense was already performing at a historic level. They really didn't need any help in the scoring department. Their defense is what needs work.

I think Rondo is kind of a luxury they were able to afford due to his low value.

Ellis going off is why Dallas won last night.

As long as Rondo gives effort on defense, the Mavs starting 5 will be fine.  Whatever problem they have from Rondo's lack of shooting will be made up for with his play-making and rebounding.

Dallas' problem is their bench.  Go look at it.  Boston's 6-8 guys are probably better than Dallas'.

No Bosh. No D Wade. No J McRoberts. Cruddy game from M Smart. Nothing that great from the new guys. 16 point loss.
We look a lot worse. Because we are.
