Still coming to terms with the trade but now that it's happens let's get the future started.
As soon as young is cleared he should be brought up and get significant minutes.
IMO his floor is korver, which ain't bad. His ceiling is a top SG in the league.

I'm not quite as optimistic about smart, he's a better scorer but he is nowhere the facilitator rondo is. If his shot doesn't improve he needs to drive the lane and defend like bull in a china shop to be an impact player (actually , given his temperament I'm pretty optimistic). he should be put in the starting lineup as soon as possible. We need to turn the keys over to the kid and see what he can do.

Go green laundry!

Yeah, it really stinks that Young is injured at the moment, because this trade would seem to signal that he can get quite a bit more playing time now.

Danny has said that Young is a small forward, so he won't see much time until Green leaves.

I think Brad recently said that Young can play whichever position he comes to be able to guard first. My guess would be that that would be the 2.

But theres one problem. Whose minutes does James Young take?

Please tell me its Bradley's...

I can see Young getting PT if Thornton and Green are both gone. If they are here keep Young in DL

With smart at the 1 young should be primary back up 2 with a few minutes at 3.
Nelson, thorton ahould play the role of disgruntled vet at end of bench.
