TP for the dedication. :)  I'll be here, too.  What I really want to see from tonight is not on the court, but in the stands.  I want the crowd to chant, "Danny sucks," for the entire night, with, "Beat LA," intensity (and no, I don't mean me, lol. ;D).  If Ainge is as bulletproof as all of you seem to think, and if he had any nuts at all, he should be there tonight, and not for a 5-10 interview with Mike and Tommy.  I want him there for the whole game, sitting right next to the season ticket holders who have been here for 30+ years.  Have fun explaining your motives, jackass.

Avery Bradley has the most tenure of the current C's.

So let's say Danny doesn't find acceptable deals for Green, Bass, and Thornton for awhile, what if we go on a winning streak similar to when Rondo went out with the ACL injury? Let's say we get up to like the 7th seed in the East, which isn't unrealistic, what is the plan then? I don't think we're much worse now without Rondo, so if our vets aren't gone soon Danny will be in a really weird predicament.
I think this is a legit concern.  I think the tank rankings look like

Teams that are worse than the Celtics
6ers
Pistons
Knicks
Wolves
Lakers

Teams in the same ballpark
Utah
Orlando
Indiana
Charlotte

The ultimate outcome would be to out tank all the teams in the second tier and push the lakers to the 6th spot, costing them their draft pick!

For those interested Danny's comment was "we clearly gave up the best player in this trade which is not something we philosophically like to do."

Thaddeus Young is somehow starting at both SF and PF according to ESPN.  The over/under is set at 212 so it should at least be an entertaining game.  KO is going to go for 20+ again

Young and Thorn will be out for weeks to come. They said last week they will give Young 3 weeks and see how it's going and whether he will need surgery or not (they don't think he will). Thorn has a small tear in his calf  (I think), last week they said 2 weeks... who knows when he will be back.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
