Monroe's defense is fine. He closes lanes and playes solid defense by position. He is not a shot blocker but he does play defense and he atleast know the rotation on d something Drummond does not. Monroe understanding of offense is special his handles and passing is awesome. And he is not slow 3.35 3/4 court sprint not bad for 250 at all. He just cant jump. I believe it will be far easier to get a rim protector whom can shoot to play with Monroe than get a big with Monroe's tallent.
I agree and think pairing him with Green will make for great chemistry and perhaps entice him here.
