Next to nothing = Ainge is tanking.

He doesn't want good players to get in the way of his draft pick.

I wouldn't 'to see why he would .....then he is unpredictable turkey
But then I never figured he could make so,many stupid moves in a row ....but he keeps surprising me ......only out classed by the idiot that runs the 76 ers

If I think he shouldn't sign Stevens

Then he probably will...... ;D

No way am I using the TPE and a first to acquire Stephenson if I am Ainge. The market isn't exactly hot for him right now.

I think a Wallace and first deal would work for both teams (same contract length). Charlotte gets rid of Stephenson and gets a pick and we upgrade and finally move on from Wallace.

I would also consider dealing Bradley, but no pick involved if we do that.

I think he might go after Monroe now that he has Wright but it is a guess only.

Would absolutely consider taking a chance on Stephenson despite all the talk about him needing the ball to be effective, and his on and off court bad attitude (same thing everybody said about Rondo, but we still loved having him!!!). Trading Nelson and Bass works for me, but I'd rather we keep that Mavs pick. That pick is heavily protected in 2015 (top 3, and 15-30), which means we'll get it in 2016. Add that to our own 2016 1st, Brooklyn's 2016 1st, Cavs 2016 1st and we have 4 first round picks in 2016!

I say we do this 3 team trade to get Stephenson:

Boston Sends: Bradley, Thornton, Bass
Boston Receives: Stephenson, Terry, Capela, & 6.9 trade exception (from Rockets for taking on Bass)

Charlotte Sends: Stephenson, Henderson
Charlotte Receives: Bradley, Thornton

Houston Sends: Terry, Capela, 6.9 million TE
Houston Receives: Bass, Nelson, & Henderson

BUYOUY JASON TERRY (hope he heads back to Dallas)

Trade opens up playing time for James Young!

The only thing that stops me from doing this deal is going after JIMMY BUTLER and giving him the MAX in Free Agency to steal him from the Bulls!!!

Celtics Roster after proposed trade:

PG: Smart / Pressey
SG: Stephenson / Turner / Young
SF: Green / Crowder / (Young) / Wallace
PF: Sully / Olynyk / (Capela)
C: Zeller / Wright / Capela

* (     )= means player can play minutes at this position also, although that is not his primary position.
