To Hornets: Faverani, Nelson, Bass, Mavs 1st
To Celtics: Stephenson

So basically for Rondo we end up getting the 10 million plus TE,  Wright and Stephenson

Lineup

Zeller /Wright
Sully /KO/Crowder
Green /Turner/Wallace
AB /Thornton/Young
Stephenson/Smart/Pressey

We already cut Vitor and I am willing to bet Ainge isn't going to be rolling the dice on bad character guys this season unless they're really good

Can we move the TPE we just received immediately?  I'd be happy with taking a gamble on Stephenson.  Legit SG size.  He's a talent.  Him and Smart together would be interesting.

Hornets are not getting much interest for Stephenson.  I think a Mavs 1st (main piece Hornets would be intersted in) plus Bass, Nelson etc could get a deal done.

Ainge is a gambler, and what better time to roll the dice?

Exactly. This is kind of an experiment year anyways.

Lance has struggled with Kemba bc Kemba needs the ball in his hands. Pounds the ball kind of like Rondo.  Lance also needs the ball to excel

If he was brought in, he would be the main ball handler with AB and Smart being the secondary handlers.

I really do believe chances are high Danny is going to target Stephenson next.  Why else did he unload Rondo right now. He could of unloaded him two weeks ago

Before Stephenson starts playing better,  its a good time to get him. Nobody else right now is showing interest.  Danny was interested in Stephenson in the offseason

Please no. Bad apple, needs the ball to be effective. Just NO.

He is only 24. There has been no news of him behaving badly this season.

He needs the ball in his hands but he does not pound the ball either.

I think he'd start at the two with Smart at the PG/primary ball handler.

Read that last line again. One more time.

Ainge isn't doing a deal that has the Celtics paying luxury tax.  I'm too tired to do the math right now, so why doesn't someone else figure out how much salary the Celtics have to send out in a Stephenson trade to stay under the tax threshold?

If Charlotte and Orlando have buyers remorse:

Bass, Thornton to Charlotte

Marvin Williams to Orlando

Frye, Stephenson to Boston

Charlotte gets rid of a long term deal and a 2 year deal for two expiring contracts. Orlando moves a 4 year deal for a two year deal.

Frye might be redundant with Brandan Wright, but hey Wright only can play 18 mins a game right?

Smart.  Bradley. Pressey
Lance.  Turner
Green.  Crowder.  Young.   Wallace
Sullinger.  Wright
Frye/Zeller/Olynyk
