I'm honestly so emotionally drained by this trade! No young guys back to get excited about, a mediocre first round pick, and Jameer Nelson! Jameer freaking Nelson. Rondo was so fun to watch, this was my first year to invest in NBA league Pass and what do I watch for now? I know I live in mississippi and this is a long distance relationship, but it still hurts! Rondo will always be a favorite of mine.

From a fan's point of view, it made way more sense to watch RR until the end of the season and then see what happens, than to get more draft picks and the trade exception. (The players we got are just a formality.) Maybe all the pieces will fall in the right place 3-4 years from now and Ainge will be able to say that he did the right thing. But a) until then we' ll have a below average team and b) we' ll never find out what would have happened have we kept PP, KG and RR and re-built the team around them. At least we would be watching better basketball now.

The Celtics onsie my dad put on me in the hospital when I was born says differently. I will pull for rondo in the playoffs, but I wish a post all star break skid to the 7th seed for the Mavs so our draft pick is better
