This is all about moving on from the big 3 era, and handing this team to CBS.

I love the fact that the TANK is in full effect.

Okafor/Towns or bust.

Embrace the Tank. Nice going Danny.

No ......if that were DAs plan he was right there last year ....and screwed up.

I think The coach was not liking Rondo......and this was the vote Danny needed to get the owners ok .

We need a new GM

With the picks DA ...he should have been adding better players ...not dumping the only star ...he'll ever see in a Celtic uniform long as he is GM anyway

I'm not convinced this trade makes us any worse and I'm a Rondo fan.

If Rondo was worth any more teams would be lining up to get him. The fact only 4 teams were in the running to throw together a trade for him speaks volumes. If you are going to be mad at Ainge be mad he didnt do this last year, dont be mad because he traded a professional basketblal player who cant even shoot 33% from the line.

So when will the next player who is of Rondos calibre ever put on a Celtic uniform or play in an all star game .

Maybe KO in five years ......another twenty to get three stars together .

Yeah Rondo was really stinking it up this year. When you add that to his flirting with the Lakers it was really time for him to go.

If Boston had waited for free agency I really believe Rondo would be a Laker next season and he would have added another 5 years to Bean Bryant's career.

So far every prediction since the Cavx winning lottery has been true .

Danny will be pushed out the door along with Stevens ...when the garden is empty

Same here. Huge Rondo fan, but I don't think we're much worse off right now. Our team just didn't maximize his game.

No way ,  giving up Rondo makes this team worse this year wins wise.   To get one of the top three , Danny has to trade Bass and Green ....

If he really wanted to win the lottery ...then Bass and Green would be off the team already .....that's what Philly did...give their players away ....to be bad. ....and their decent coach who wouldn't tank .

I don't see Danny doing a Philly

When all he had to do was sit Green and Bass last twenty games last year for a top three .

Please come back in May and June and TALK TO US ABOUT
RAJON RONDO.  You'll be choking on those words as the MAV's become a legit contender.
Marc Cuban just fleeced Ainge.  Don't kid yourself.
The only way this comes out good for Boston is if somehow there is another deal or two on its way.

Yeah hopefully a deal where we can unload Bass and Green and maybe get a first rounder back. Then this is a really good trade.

I feel bad for Stevens, wrong time to be a head coach.

So what happens if we bust and don't get them? Lots of teams stink as bad as we do.
And what if these guys turn out to be dogs like the people from this years draft that so many
overrated?

We are definitely tanking now. The team isn't dedicated to winning any time soon
