Boston will release center Vitor Faverani, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Boston needed to open a roster spot for trade.

Faverani had some bad luck and timing with injuries whilst he was here. It's a pity. He had a bit of talent and could've turned into a useful rotation piece with some work. Disappointed that didn't get to happen for him. It was nice seeing a big 6-11 260lb guy muck it up in the paint.

honestly he did nothing here except have 2 or 3 really decent games.  Goodluck in Europe or China Fav

I don't think Vitor really liked playing in the USA.
He showed very little to me, except for a few early games.

He chose the wrong doctor to operate on his knee, he did all his conditioning in Europe. When the knee started swelling in early workouts he went back to the original European Dr. to have it evaluated again.
