If he was signed for a few years, I might try to get excited about him, but he's a free agent at the end of the year.

So in '15 Wright may walk and Nelson will certainly exercise his player option so this deal could end up taking on a net $3.5 million on a washed up PG for a pick in the late 20's and Crowder.  Terrible

I will say this... he's super efficient in limited minutes, could possibly break out if given 30+ mpg.

Could be like Bledsoe who was limited on the Clips and broke out on Phx. I'm really just trying to make myself feel better

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I hope we resign him at the end of the year.
Love this trade.

NO!

He's a bench dude. You love this trade because you hate Rondo. You and triboy. Everybody who's sane thinks this is a stupid trade and a stupid return.

Wright is nothing more than an energy guy off the bench. And we two players who's practically useless and a pick which is also practically useless.

2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons

Rondo is gonna make him look like a star. Oh wait....
TP. Welcome to CB. Nice name, as well.

Thanks. I'm just trying to have some fun after this sad news.

What's the over/under on how many games it takes for Tommy to compare him to Russell?

We are going to be a better team.

He is left handed.

But seriously in the name of being a CELTICS Fan, I wish Brandon and the newcomers well.

Had to force myself to type that.

How? by adding another PF in the mix. We will be the same team. But with less star power.

Anyone who is sane knows this deal is better than letting Rondo walk for nothing.

Mediocrity would be an upgrade for this guy.

When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.

Yep. There's absolutely no way there wasn't at least a better offer out there. Capela, salary fillers, and the NOLA pick easily beats this out...

We are a better team without Rondo and with a rim protector.
