we will all do what we wish. what i wish is to watch the celtics. not just when they win, but all their games. my main interest this season was to watch the kids development. i can still do that.

to each their own. now i can also watch and see if wright can be the center the celtics need.

fun.  :D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Not a surprising thread, I would expect someone who is not a Celtics fan to not want to watch Celtics games. Not sure why this needed its own individual thread to find out that only Celtics fans watch the Celtics.

I started this thread. I have every right to.

I'd bet I've been a Celtics fan longer than you've been alive, so before you open your mouth, and break blog rules by calling a poster a bad fan, or not a fan, you should probably learn you facts.

You can certainly disagree with my sentiment, but at least be respectful.

Well if your 21 years old and brain dead like most of these kids that hated Rondo.

You'll be 45 years old...

And say n

Wow those old guts were right .....we did have another 24 years to wait for Boston to land title talent.

Check back in 20 plus years .

Splat.  Splat.  Splat.
...the sound of people falling off the bandwagon

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

He had to pull the trigger now or we miss out on the Okafur sweepstakes.

We've got a great chance at Okafur, Towns or Muiday now.

I'm actually pretty excited for the draft.
May I kindly suggest the reason is that you do not know enough about it  ;D

Close, man, I'm 22. That means the C's could be good again when I'm nearly 50?

This trade doesn't change the fact that:

A.) KO, Smart, Young, Sully and even Green are fun to watch this year

B.) The Celtics are my team

C.) They most likely weren't making the playoffs this year, anyway

D.) Rondo probably wouldn't have signed here at the end of the season, anyway

Lets not forget by making the trade today, all 3 of the returns can be traded at the deadline this year

Big point here, I think if DA thought he could sign Rondo to a reasonable deal he wouldn't have traded him. I think a lot of the blame for this trade lies with Rondo, for playing however he wanted and demanding too much money. You don't get the max at 8ppg, points scored are more valuable than assists.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

And if we miss on those three? I mean, this is what we we're saying with Parker, Wiggins and Embiid and we got none of those three.

Still doesnt justify into agreeing into a garbage deal. I'd rather have the chance of resigning him than getting a phooey of a return.

You don't think Ainge already asked Rondo that question?

Yeah......the management won't have to look hard to find the villain when their sale of seats , hotel rooms , and all the rest go down the drain .

Danny should be run out of town....I predict he will....he has made one huge mistake after another .

It will take another round of GMs and 15 sets of player and 25 years to right the wrong.

As an old guy that was used to titles every couple few years or so during the 70s and 80s, the only thing worse than being a Celtic fan from 1986-2008 was being Red Sox fan before 2004. iT SUCKED. Waiting for a couple decades to go by while your team sucks every year is an awful experience. The next 4-6 years are going to really drag. I really don't want to be in my 70s some 20 years or so from now finally enjoying another banner sometime before I die.
