At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Team comes first, but i feel what you mean. I hate Ainge right now. It is the current Celtics organization that sucks and that hurts more than the particular trade.
"We do so many defensive drills in practice, I come home and I'm putting the press on my woman, denying her the ball.
Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

I've been a fan of this club since 2006.
Rondo, funny enough, became my favorite player of the Celtics even though he wasn't that good at that time. I could see some similarities between his and my game back in 2006, and it made me really happy to see him progress and get better each year that went by.
It makes me really sad to see him go, but I would never stop supporting this team regardless of the fact that my favorite player isn't here anymore. Dallas have got a new fan in me, but Celtics still rank #1 in my heart. With that said I just hope that Danny has something in plan or else it's going to be some long years here in Beantown :-\
Jack of all trades, master of none.

We were bad with Rondo.  WE will be bad without Rondo.

He was going to leave this summer anyways.  Good to get a late 1st.

It will take a little while, but eventually a lot of the homers who have overrated Rondo for years will start to see him for what he actually was.  I'll actually miss Rondo... but I will not miss my many debates where I stood by the fact that Rondo's trade value was minimal.   The debate is over... his trade value was minimal.

Not sure which side is more self-righteous here.
(The answer is both these attitudes stink. ha).

Im with you. Disgusted by the lack of Rondo appreciation on this thread and the constant whining which was getting ridiculous to read. Well you all got what you wanted - the Jameer Nelson era.

Rondo is better off.
