Oh Rondo, we hardly knew ye. Even after years of being on this team, we still don't understand you very much. But you gave us some mountainous highs, and for that- THANK YOU. You were mercurial, oft-criticized, and ultra talented. Some incesssantly defended you while others did the opposite. But we can all agree you are worth much more than what we got. So thank you, Rajon Rondo: World Champion, Captain, "Playoff MVP." It sure was fun.

PS good luck in Dallas and see you in January.

Best of luck Rondo.  Thanks for all the great memories and for the championship.  Last of the Fantastic Four to go.

These playoffs sold me on Rondo. That three against Philly after PP fouled out was the most emotion-packed shot I've experienced.

Mr Rondo,
The first preseason game I saw you play in I was in awe much like Tommy and Cousy.  Magic on the court, fiery player, a celtic.  Thank you for the memories.  I wish you luck in the playoffs, hoping you, ellis and dirk can win a title.  You'll have to forgive danny, red traded him and he's never gotten over it.  Don't worry you diving for the ball will be forever in celtic memories with bird stealing the ball, hondo stealing the ball, cowens bouncing his face off the floor.

I'll miss you Rondo.  You were a key role player in our 2008 title and had some of the most amazing performances I've ever seen in your prime.  You had heart.  You were a terrific player.  Best of luck in Dallas.   Here's hoping you come back to us this summer.

I like the fact that now, he can show if he can lead a team full of stars all over again. I loved this guy for a couple of years, but when they "handed him the team" back in '11 od '12, things seamed to go down hill.
best of luck rajon
on the other hand i hoped we get a young star or something. nelson is all right tho. Smart is our guy now, and i love it
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Man, I just posted but I had to add this.  I really enjoyed watching KG and Rondo play together.  Their dynamic was so much fun.

Rondo playing with that dislocated elbow was one of the toughest things I've seen from a player, ever.

What about coming back from a broken hand earlier than expected?

Amen TP

This was one of my favorite Rondo plays

Almost up there with Cowens dive for the ball.

We were up and he did not need to do it, but he did.

Farewell, Captain!

I am very saddened to see one of my top three all time favorite Celtics go.  He will be missed.

Wish him great success in Dallas.

Oh no you don't.  You can't sh1t on him almost daily for at least 1-2 years, calling him an overrated role player with a bad attitude, etc., and then ask him to come back in the offseason.  That's beyond ridiculous.  Why would you want him to come back, anyway - just so that you can bash him every day?  OMG :o - I just figured it out.  Danny - is that you?

My sentiments, exactly - TP.
