The Mav's package for Rondo is making me physically sick

I seriously can't believe Ainge waited for Brandon Wright and a future 1st...feel like we've had so many better offers in the past when Rondo was a "hot commodity". Can't help but think Ainge held onto his golden goose for too long...really hope DA gets a better package coming back.

People are fools if they think that Danny passed by better deals for this one.  This is most likely the best he could get and Danny knew it.  To me, the only question is whether Danny should have just let rondo walk.

I'd feel dumb if I were Rondo. Oh well... went to a now-contender.

It sucks that this is all we could get but it's the reality of the trade market.
The Rondo situation was too much of a gamble for Ainge in the offseason. He obviously wasn't willing to match any max deal offers and if we don't trade Rondo now, we'll play too well to be a top 3 pick contender in the draft with some absolute studs.
Time to build this thing from the ground up.

I am very sad, I have lost my favorite player on my favorite team.

I guess I will start watching the Mavs. 

IF this is really entertainment, the Celtics do not put out an entertaining product.  Tanking is not entertaining as every one in Philly will testify. 

Danny made a poor decision as did the Red Sox with Lester.  Sometimes its best to keep what you have and not play games.

Im sickened at what we are getting back as well. Was hoping we would at least get one promising prospect back in return.

I think there were only a few teams out there who would gamble on this trade knowing that Rondo can walk at the end of the year. Their were probably a handful of playoff contenders that were even willing to give up anything at this point which was Dallas/Houston. Why would a bad or middle of the road team trade any real prospects at this point for half a season of Rondo.

We go the best we could at this point in the game. Its still a shame though.
