My prediction is the team performs the same or even better, but with Smart and Thorton out
there will be a chance that we suck for a while(until Smart came back and find his rhymth)
The team chemistry wont be affect by much(if Bass/Green stay)
BS can finally run his System without worrying about the star pride problem
(By the way Rondo can very possible thrive in a team that can play halfcourt offense and a rim
 protector)

What is your prediction?

1. I'll be heartbroken
2. Smart will start
3. Looks like a complete rebuild through the youth movement
3b. Green is next

Wallace will be the team captain.  Yes it gets bad.

Been saying it since before he was injured.  Rondo doesn't move the needle on this team.  The team will play relatively the same whether he is here or not...

Once Ainge goes full blown sell mode - Rondo, Bass, Green, Turner and Thornton that's when this team will go into the tank...

It's the right move to get him out of here, once Smart gets healthy, he is the starting PG and let him play the majority of the minutes, hopefully Young can get healthy too....

If Rondo is traded he won't be the only one. That means Green is also getting traded. Between the two of them we are going to suck really bad.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Once Rondo is gone production of Zeller should take a decent hit.

Rondo always found him down low.

I was thinking the same thing. Rondo is my favorite player and has been for years. I like players on the team but no one attracts me to the Celtics like Rondo does. Isn't Rondo's jersey pretty high up on the scale for jersey sales? Once he's gone that will take a hit, I'd assume attendance will also. If the team goes in the crapper people won't want to go to every game.

Green is traded for a first rounder.

Smart ends up as rookie of the year with James Young finishing a close 2nd.

Ainge packages picks & moves up to draft a big in the top 5 of the 2015 draft.

my prediction,

A trade soon follows where green and Bass are also moved.

This team competes most nights but ultimately is a bottom 8 team.

Smart gets healthy and has a strong second half of the season. Finishes averaging 11pt 4as 5rb 1.5stl.
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

It means our rebuild time just went from 2-3 years to 5-6 years.

Hopefully my fantasy team isn't destroyed after rondo is traded. Haha traded him for Brook Lopez, when it's a points based league Rondo is killer.
