Yup he's looked great if he keeps playing like this I'm getting an Olynyk jersey and growing my hair out
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

Yeah.....he stepped up his interior defense against Orlando .  He is actually leaping ...and not standing flat footed.

Huge body , nice skills, good BB IQ .....

mindset needs to catch up with his body.  Not college .....sharing is not so important .....go take what you want .

Needs to be more selfish ,  and THiNK score first ,  he's a good scorer , pass second.

He could easily be the best player on the team.

Needs interior work , moves offensive and defensive .

Confidence.

He played a little better but still is nothing to write home about on D.

The entire team needs to learn to shoot hook shots with either hand.

It makes the game so much easier.

Kelly is so afraid of getting his shot blocked, thats why he up fakes when he should just fire away. Especially when he's at the 3 point line. I think Tommy brought this up during the game.

Also yes, KO needs a quick jump hood with either hand.

His defense is a work in progress, its looks ok when he's aggressive, especially when being successful on the offensive end.

A hook shot is harder to block but some leapers can still go up to get them.

It would help  some but the T- Rex arms would still hamper him a bit.   if they blocked Kareem they sure as heck would block Kelly.   Having wide shoulders help on the hook because the shot is trying to use your shoulders to create seperation to get the shot off.

On his D, Kelly is intelligent and shows effort.   He is slow at times and can't jump.

now remember about a year ago, what would you have bet he would progress this much.Kelly has come a long way in a short time.He is in gym at night and enjoys it.Surprise ,surprise  he's just a sophomore and still can pack on some muscle and improve vertical.I like players who have to work harder because of limitations.Ainge picked well ,kelly is in right tqwn ,with the right coach at the right time---next project powell----please keep him danny-
