Neither Stein nor Wojo or Bulpett have this on Twitter yet.

Stein was just live on ESPN reporting it was agreed upon in principle.

We're not getting Okafor. Anyone who thinks the ping pong balls are going to fall in our favor is completely delusional.

We're getting stuck with another #6 pick and another wasted season.  >:(

Celtics have the necessary trade exceptions to absorb Dallas salaries; could potentially generate $12.9 million trade exception in deal.

If the deal is a 2015 first and a second, it's poop.

If the deal is a 2017~18 (unprotected) first and a second, it's acceptable.

If the deal is actually two firsts, it's a complete steal.

not really , he wasn't going to trade him in 2012 when the c's just came off a 7 game ECF series . Half way through 2013 he was hurt , and didn't return healthy until this season . Really not a case of waiting to long , just bad luck I guess...

Now that we traded Rondo for pennies on the dollar, I wouldn't mind if we lost every game this season... really wouldn't.

Oh and now I get to see the Mavs crush us live at TD in a couple weeks! Thanks DA!

Boston will send Rajon Rondo and Dwight Powell to Dallas for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jamar Nelson, 2015 first-round and future second.

Some of you guys are unreal. We would lose Rondo for nothing in the offseason.. Would that make you happier than what we are going to receive?
Yes. We would be better off just taking the cap space and letting him walk.

I understand the frustration, but no, we would not be better off with cap space.  None of what we'd be getting in the deal has a significant cap impact next year.  I don't know what the pick is though -- is it Dallas, 2015?

It was time to move on, and by all accounts Danny developed the best market he could.  I liked rondo during the runs, but I haven't seen that rondo in a couple of years. Lets remove the ambiguity and start to put together the team as architected by Brad and Danny, and not made up of thanksgiving leftovers...

All depends on that really. The trade really is utter crap if the pick is 2015.
