I would take Brandon Bass over Josh Smith and his contract.

And BTW, there hasn't been a minute in his years here that he hasn't appeared to have given his best on and off the court. One of the many guys in the NBA from very modest circumstances for whom it's nice to see him make good.

Agreed.....Bass over Smith and his attitude and contract anyday.

Always like him even when KG and Pierce were on the way out and we needed to go young. I think he's one of the more consistent players overall which is a hard thing to do in the NBA.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

who gives Bass flak on this board.  I mean unless you consider putting him in trade proposals flak, which I don't because Bass has a decent sized expiring contract and is good enough to help a contender off the bench.
