Elrod can be a bit wordy, but in essence, he's saying what a lot of Celtics fans think:
* If Rondo is going to be overpaid and/or unlikely to re-sign with the Celtics, it makes sense to explore trades for him
The Rockets could probably use him, although I disagree that he would "neutralize" Western point guards, and I worry about ball-sharing between he and Harden. Houston is probably the best contender that would be interested in Rondo, though.
Trading Green could make sense for similar reasons, although I'm very skeptical that we could land *two* first rounders. One decent #1 is probably too much to ask for, but I'd be happy to be surprised.
