McGee has fallen out of Brian Shaw's rotation and the Nuggets should look to move him. The Celtics need a big and McGee could work out.

But what could work for this trade to work:

Celtics receives: JaVale McGee
Denver receives: Gerald Wallace, Vitor Faverani, Was. 2nd rd. pick, Phil. 1st rd. pick (Which will be a 2nd rd pick in 2015 if 76ers are 1-14)

If the C's don't want to use their 2nd rd picks, the C's can use some of the trade exception that they have built up.

What do the Celtics get: A big in JaVale McGee who runs the court, can play in the P&R with Rondo, solid defender and rim protector.

What does Denver get: A veteran present in Gerald Wallace, who can be a vocal leader but also Vitor Faverani who's contract can be terminated at the end of the season.

If the Celtics stay pat and don't trade for a rim protecting big before the trade deadline, they need to be looking at Kentucky's Willie Caluey-Stein in June's draft.

Welcome to celticsblog. Here's your first TP for your first post.

McGee for the right price might interest me if he weren't injured. That's why he hasn't been playing. Hasn't recovered from his tibia surgery.

I'd roll the dice on a healthy McGee. He would surely find a large role on this roster.

Wallace must be part of any deal though for it to make sense.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Could he help us?  Sure.  He'd proudly represent us each week on Shaqtin' a Fool, lol ;D.  Not that that's a bad thing.  At least he'd be the only laugh on a team whose roster can only be described as a comedy of errors, haha ;D.  As csfansince60s said - welcome aboard :), matey, yargh ;D.
