I know I REALLY should wait to see how the second half goes before posting this, but are we finally starting to figure things out? I mean, we're a flawed team, and we're nowhere near contention. However, we're alot better than our record shows, and I think we can be a playoff team.

Of course, the argument will be, "Well, we've just been playing poor teams lately, and that's why we're winning." But the reverse can also be argued. When we were losing quite a bit, the majority of the teams we were playing were legitimate contenders. I think putting Zeller in the lineup helped our interior D quite a bit, and that's affected our overall game hugely.

Wizards are a more talented team.  I don't think there is any evidence to suggest that the Celtics will hold this lead.  However, this is another opportunity for a growth experience.  Keep it close and maybe come away with a win.  The more the C's experience close games and the more they figure out how to win them, the better for the future confidence of this team.

I can't tell, has our defense done a solid job, or did the wizard didn't come out to play in the 1st half

What I like the most, we only had 6 TOs.

One thing that has worked for me for the past few games is to wait till the last whistle blow before expressing any kimd of emotion.  I carry apathy in my pocket everytime I'm watching a Celtics game.  So we'd see what happen in the second half.

We've been a good first half team, but Washington also has a serious case of Matinee Syndrome.  The first 6 minutes of the 3rd are going to be really important for us.

A combination. I think we've played aggressive defense so far - especially Tyler in the post against Gortat. We're not giving them a lot of airspace either. On the flip side, they've missed some bunnies.

From section 309 they look pretty good. Also I'm pretty sure rondos critics don't actually watch him play
