So for defensive purposes we have Kelly, pressey and turner in at same time  :-\

This may be the worst unit we have...

Stevens is incredibly suspect tonight. As soon as he started to sub, we started sucking.

You can tell he's guessing the rotations... are you surprised? Who do we have who can actually defend Drummond?

It's not just that, it's Pressey before Smart, taking Rondo out six minutes into the game, that ridiculous lineup of Pressey, Turner, Olynyk, Bass, and Thornton. I mean I'd rather have Wallace guarding Drummond or Monroe than Olynyk.

I was also blaming Stevens, but it occurred to me that Danny brought him to Boston.  He was successful in college ball.  He is too inexperienced to coach an also young and inexperienced team.  Danny has set Stevens and the team up to fail.

Yeah no clue why Rondo was out that early... though I think Pressey before Smart is the fact that Smart probably isn't getting big minutes this game on that ankle.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
wow Van Gundy is attempting to lock up the 2nd worst record.
He's giving Smith and Jennings a free reign to shoot anything.
They have got to be the worst shooting team in the NBA right? Other than us?

What a blatantly disgusting tank.
At least our coach disciplines bad play. Smith looks completely disinterested out there. Poor guy.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I think Stevens is a good coach. I'm not sure how many games this team would win with any other coach. It's purposefully flawed. The inexperience is definitely in the rotations though this team's makeup is head scratching so finding rotations that actually work is probably extremely difficult. DA has set this team up to lose purposefully though
