I have to wonder if something based around AB and Green for Stephenson could work

I don't know know if it would be worth it, but despite his attitude Lance intrigues me (especially if we were to trade Rondo, since I think Lance and Smart would be a great backcourt pairing)

MKG has always interested me, too, but I don't see any reason to bring him here (I guess as a replacement for Green if we got more value in return?)
I'm bitter.

Lowe identifies three-point shooting and wing defense as key areas where the Hornets need to improve.

Quote
Now the Hornets are in trouble, and they’ll scour the trade market while hoping the status quo roster can find just enough punch to trample over a few of the teams that will surely stumble down the Eastern Conference ladder. You could see them making calls on a number of potentially available wings: Randy Foye or Wilson Chandler in the Denver overflow pile; Jeff Green in Boston, capable of swinging between both forward positions; Corey Brewer, suddenly weirdly essential for a banged-up Minnesota team; and in a much lower trade-value range, shooting tweeners like Dorell Wright and old friend Anthony Tolliver.

I would absolutely trade Green and Bass for MKG.

Doesn't work per the CBA.

Green for MKG and Biyombo works money wise.

Throw in the Clippers 1st if you need to.

Perfect a back court with no 3 pt shooting...

Take AB over Stephenson now...

Because there's no way that Smart can ever improve his 3pt shooting...

I've viewed Charlotte as a trade fir for a while,

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ngdzgd3

Cs get MKG, Biyombo, Gordon
Cs trade Wallace, Green, Bass and future 2nd

Hornets get Green ,Bass and Ajainca
Hornets trade MKG, Henderson, Biyombo

No gets Henderson, Wallace
NO Trades Gordon , Ajinca, future 2nd

Cs, This is only a viable trade idea if the plan is to move Rondo, If Rondo stays then Green needs to stay. If Rondo is traded this would give the Cs a good haul of young under achieving talent for a group of players not in the future plans. Gordon's deal is terrible but if the team goes with a youth moment it doesn't matter. At 26 he still has a ton of talent and can improve where Wallace is on a downward career ark.

Hornets, they add two starters who are solid young vets to a team in need of stability. Green will effectivly become their 3rd scorer allowing Stevenson to become the 4th option and focus on his well rounded game. The trio of Lance, green and Bass will give them 3 versatile defensive players who can all guard multiple positions. Bass's range will be an asset on O allowing them to space the floor for Big Al. They would still have a solid bench with Zeller, Neal, and marvin Williams.

Pelicans, add two rotational players to a team in desperate need on depth
