Rondo's FT shooting has reached 'Chuck Knoblauch throwing to first' levels.

Why on earth was I listening to Bulls broadcasters? I just checked the Bulls site and even they
were listening to Tommy shouting 'that's terrible' whereas I had two ****** praising the refs.  >:(

When Smart returns I hope we go to no Rondo for the final 6 minutes of games.

I'm not making excuses for rondo...I think he should improve his ft shooting, too...what I am saying is that with their big lead it never should have come down to a difference in  foul shots in the first place.  How many good leads have they given up, anyway?

I think we've had a double digit lead in 6 or 7 of our 13 games. Same old story.

Something to think about. We won vs the bulls the last time without Rondo. It was also a tight game or became tight but the team won.

dude, he alone had 3-4 bad shots, a turnover, and 0/2 FT in the final 3-4 minutes. He is the reason we lost the last 3 close games we played(CLE,CHI i can't remember the third one OKC perhaps)
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Well maybe, but then again ET is not really a point guard- he takes the ball all the way to the opponent's paint and then either shoots or makes an awful pass. And Pressey does not deserve more than 5-10 min of playing even in this team. So, even on a bad night, IMO Rondo is your only legit option.

Has anyone EVER seen a team get as many double-digit leads and then lose like this team?

Mike

nope. And it would not happen if Rondo was benched with less than 5 min.  Maybe we don't win all the close games but at least 2 or 3 more wins than we have now

Without Rondo, this is what would happen.

We would be able to put a bigger/better defender out on the floor.  We would have guys capable to make jump shots so that it prevents teams from playing zone and daring a poor jump shooter to shoot. We would have guys able to make FT's for heavens sake. At least one out of 2.

I guess it depends on which team you were rooting for.

Oh ...ok..I just saw the score ....I figured Rondo must have had a whale of a game for us to be that close playing against Rose.  Least it wasn't a blow out .
