Just happened to be watching Purdue on TV, thought I'd check out their 7 foot prospect, a junior (forget his name) when who shows up but this freshman, 7'2" center, Isaac Haas, from Alabama. His dad was a 6'10" college football player, I think at Bama.

He has a 7'5" wingspan and a 9'2" standing reach.

This kid is intriguing. Look at his stats so far this early season.  Averaging 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in less than 20 min per game.  Completely off the radar right now, I see this kid an intriguing late first round pick or early 2nd round pick as a project.  He is huge, and he seems pretty athletic.  Kind of reminds me of Roy Hibbert.  Which if you can get him that late would be awesome.

Anyone else heard of this guy?

From this it looks like he has soft hands.

He doesn't seem to move real well, but as you said, he is very young.

Looks like Roy Hibbert to me, especially the way he runs up the court .

Yep. If we get out of the top 5 I could see DA taking Cauley-Stein  We wouldn't need a back up were we already have Zeller.

TP for the pun.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

His rebound numbers too, how can a seven footer only get five a game?

Or maybe Frank Kaminsky. He looks promising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTei8X7wTXU&list=UUyWoi_6Qxp1BgMhLDs2UYRw
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

Fast, good shooter. If Olynyk is a point guard in a center's body, Kaminsky is a small forward in a center's body.

He's playing less than 20 mins per game though.

I really like Kaminsky's development but at this point I think that we need a center in a center's body.
