FYI, I voted 6-10.  Don't think they'll be a historic worst.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

The Philadelphia Seventy Stinkers.

A new standard of putrid.

They (Hinkie) may be "playing within the rules", but you can't tell me that they're not hurting the NBA product, so under that standard the owners should be able to take action.

They won't, but they should.

I think the longer this goes on (the team not winning a single game and being a top story on national media because of it) the more likely that something like that may happen. Maybe I am being biased because the NFL recently made knee jerk reactions to public opinion, but if enough people complain and a few local sponsors started trying to get out of their deals with the 76ers, it could become pretty interesting.

3/5ths of that range would still be a historic worst.  I voted for that range too.

It is within the Commissioner's authority to penalize the Sixers if he feels they are intentionally tanking the season.  Sometimes the record speaks for itself.  The Sixers may be kicking themselves for not tanking better last year, where they could have gotten Parker, or traded up to get Wiggins.  Now no holds barred: They are going all out for the worst.  Hoping the Commish at the very least takes them out of the top 3 picks. The entire point of the lottery is to discourage tanking at this level. If they choose to continue to do this, then the only way to stop it is to remove them from a top 3 pick.  I see nothing wrong or unfair of that remedy.

Right now they're mainly hurting their own product.  If the losing gets to a point that it becomes a major running story, then it might start to hurt the NBA product, and that's when you might see rumblings about taking real action.

Great point.  Would love to see Silver take their 1st rounder from them this year for making a mockery of the game.  That said, I'm fairly positive Adam doesn't have the stones to do it...

I don't have the stomach to suffer this much losses; I'd go crazy; Brown surely must regret signing on to the sixers;

Poor old Brett Brown is going to have a completely unretrievable W-L record.

He knew what he was signing up for though, he could've stayed on the San Antonio bench.  I'd rather be a ball boy for the Spurs than head coach of Philadelphia.

And here I thought that Gorman was joking about that lol ;D.  That's awesome.  Somewhere, Javale McGee smiled and said, "now that's my team," lol (sarcasm). ;D  WOW.

Maybe they introduce a 0.100 win percentage minimum for lottery eligibility?

I like that idea. I'd raise it to minimum 25 wins. Win less than that and you go to end of lottery.

That will be fun watching a team go into super tank mode once they hit exactly 25 wins.
