Aside from the Cleveland games (because I intensely dislike Lebron), I want us to win the 76ers games more than against any other team. If we beat them tonight, the 76ers would drop to 0-10 and would have a very tough stretch coming up. I believe that if they start 0-25 the chatter for sanctions against them for betraying the integrity of the league will only improve. They are 20 to 25 million below the salary floor and a complete and utter embarrassment to the league in every way.

Hoping to see a good performance from our guys tonight. But i swear if we have another 4th quarter collapse against the 76ers of all teams im gonna be pretty agitated. Also hope MCW plays, hes one of my favorite players to watch probably because of his St Andrews ties lol
If the celtics lose this game I will fear for locker room morale. And ps you stole my icon. Not cool, man

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
The Celtics will win tonight, or I will really cry deeply...

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen

I like a lot that I'm seeing from Stevens and the Celtics.  Frankly, they're really had only one bad loss this year (OKC), even with all the blown leads, while playing a pretty tough schedule.  But Boston has got more talent and a LOT more experience than Philly.  If they can't keep their stuff together against the Sixers, that's going to be a flashing neon sign that for all his smarts, Stevens just does not understand the NBA game.

Should win this game.   It doesn't matter how terrible our defense is... Philly is scoring the least amount of points in the league... 88.5ppg

If they don't commit to giving an effort defensively, this is going to be an L.  Can see it now...Sixers do what they want offensively, the 3's aren't falling for the Celtics -- lose by 14.

The Celtics defense has been problematic for them in their losses.  They are allowing teams to score 109.4 (3rd in the league  on 48.3 percent shooting (4th)  They are even worse than the 76ers, who are allowing 105.4 points (6th) and 46.4% (8th).   So, as bad as the Sixers have been,  they are better on defense than the Celtics.

The Sixers, however, have been dismal on offense, averaging a league worst 88.5 points per game.  In spite of their defensive struggles, the Celtics are averaging 107.4 points per game, which ranks them 3rd in the league.

I like it, TP.  We might actually hold these guys under 100 (I can dream, right?)

Not even channeling the Luckster -- though he put on a good dunk show the other night at the Cleveland game.    ;D
