Hassan Whiteside's averages in his last 8 games.

I know this is crying over spilled milk, but darn it I will cry. We could have had this guy... He's putting solid work. Hexk, his last 5 games when he's averaging 20 minutes, he's getting 7 rebounds and 2.4 blocks, which is great for a vet. minimum guy.

He's not giving you anything you couldn't get from Brandan Wright. That is, if you knew how to use BW and actually played him.

Except Whiteside is younger, cheaper and has legitimate size for the Center position. Of course he could give us more than what Wright could in the form of potential, savings and size.

I'm beginning to think ....they are scared to open their new box of crackerjacks and find exactly what kind of  PRiZE  they got . :-X

Might not like what they find ....or would rather not let him destroy his own value by show casing too much on a bad team .  Where he looked magnificent surrounded by the Mavs vets( according to some posters on this blog)

Cant help it. There was an article on ESPN that a Heat friend of mine posted on his Facebook.

He has been good. Sucks, we needed a Center, and we didn't even show any interest. Now he has been playing good.

I saw him in the heat-nets game, and was very impressed. He was very good altering and blocking shots, running the floor, and the catching and finishing down low.

Hey Yoki, Whiteside just checked into the Heat-Blazers game and already, in 4 minutes, has 6 points on an alley-oop, a jump hook, and an inside layup off of a pass from Bosh.  He changes ends very quickly, too.  Sigh.

Edit - he just swatted a shot by Lillard out of bounds.  In 7 minutes, he has 6 points on 3/3 from the floor, 4 rebounds (all defensive), one block, and a foul.

Gosh darn it, Hassan Whiteside! This makes me even more mad...

This is against DeAndre Jordan (who was held to 4 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block in 33 minutes)...

29 minutes, 23 points, 16 rebounds, 10-13 shooting, 2 blocks, 2 steals, 5 fouls, +26 on the floor. And we didn't even show interest to this kid? This makes me so mad.

But it's not too late. We can still have him, although he would be expensive now, but we can still have a shot. How about we trade for him this season, huh, Danny? Or since we will have some cap space, maybe we can sign him?

Ugh...

Some of you don't get it, we were not trying to win this year at any point.

Kid is being impressive yet again...

5 BLOCKS in 7 minutes. Yep, that's not a typo. 5 Blocks in 7 minutes.

We have the cap space right? How about we give this kid some money to play for us?
