I'd do it in a heartbeat, not sure Denver does though. They probably would want a Brooklyn pick or onr of our own.

The Cavs keep playing like they are, it may be the best pick we have to give.

It's hard for me to believe Ainge thinks McGee is any good.

He has potential because of his length and athleticism.

I bet Ainge thinks McGee is better than Wallace.

Despite the Cavs poor early start I still think the pick they owe us will be very late next year.

We've now got a young team. No need to get any younger with all those draft picks. Time to let 1 or 2 go and get some pieces we need, like a athletic 5 who can block shots.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Not for a first. I'd consider the Philly lotto protected pick.

My deal is that in the summer there will be quite a few free agent bigs available and we got $ to spend. This team isn't winning any playoff series this year so I wouldn't bother moving assets unless youre getting real value back. Javale is as likely damaged goods on a crappy contract as he is better then Tyler zeller.

I'd consider this in the summer only if we missed out on all the other free agent centers. If we do this deal now we basically take ourselves out of the discussion to have an opportunity to sign one.

Boston needs to continue to be patient and make some productive moves this off season. Mcgee just doesn't seem like a productive move.

how about thornton and bass for mcgee and chandler? we get stuck with an extra year of contracts, but don't have to surrender any picks. are we really going to be free agent players this offseason this year anyways?

Maybe the Denver counter proposal would be McGee and Wilson Chandler for Gerald Wallace, Brandon Bass, the Celtics 2015 first round pick (top three protected), and the 2016 Cleveland pick.

No way we're giving up a potential top 10 pick for JaVale McGee!! FORGET ABOUT IT! I'm all for giving up picks, but that one is OFF LIMITS barring we're trading for a star or all star caliber player

Mcgee did have one of the most dominant postseason games I've ever seen against that Lakers front court. He may have regressed since then but he'll always be able to play these highlights for his grandkids.

Javale McGee sucks. I wouldn't trade a 3rd round pick for the bum. Heck, I probably wouldn't trade a $3 bill for him either.
