Why do people assume they're going to miss the playoffs? Unless the fracture is displaced and very bad on the spectrum of possible timetables they should be good to make a lower seed.

RT @anthonyVslater: Westbrook injury came two weeks to the day after Durant's surgery. Puts both stars on same 4-to-6 week timetable

Time for okc to tank.

Time for OKC to make the playoffs, and once healthy win the championship, in the process showing you why tanking is pretty stupid.

Showing you why tanking is stupid by winning a championship with the players they tanked to get?  :D

Yeah, if they win this year they'll win a championship 8 years after they tanked.  Or they could tank this year because their two best players are out for a couple of months, and guarantee an even longer wait.

Fie on tanking!

Durant/Westbrook and another lottery pick...sounds like the path to success

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Yeah it'll be tough to get a top seed of course but they should make the playoffs still barring yet another calamity.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
He'll be back in 4-6 weeks, they will do poorly while he is out but they will play .500 ball with him back then elite basketball with him and Durant.

Luckily for the Celtics, we play them while both will be out.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Sebastian Telfair will be their starting point guard...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Wooooow. It was hilarious watching him try to be 'the man' down the stretch last night.  I remember he started over Rondo in Rondo's rookie year. I actually thought he was decent then.

Telfair is decent, a decent backup guard.
