Quote
@DarnellMayberry
Thunder coach Scott Brooks says Russell Westbrook has a small fracture in his right hand.

Brooks says the fracture is in Westbrook's second metacarpal. Brooks did not provide a timetable for recovery.

OKC is in a jeopardy of not making the playoffs. Durant is out of at least 2 months and we have no idea when Westbrook will return. They need to at least put an impressive winning streak when both return or other guys from the team should step up and hold the fort.

Ahh, that is a bummer. I was really looking forward to seeing Westbrook get a chance to play without Durant in the team. To be the main guy.

Time for them to trade Perk's expiring for some help.

PJ3 looked great last night for them though, and Jeremy Lamb should get a chance to develop now when he returns as well.

Time for okc to tank.

Time for OKC to make the playoffs, and once healthy win the championship, in the process showing you why tanking is pretty stupid.

And we have bunch of what they need.

They'll probably pull a '97 San Antonio.

Miss the playoffs, grab Okafor or Towns with the #1 pick, go on to win several championships, and then be the poster boy for how you don't need to be a large market team to win.

Looks like the West just got a little easier for the next couple months.

Still brutal out there.

Showing you why tanking is stupid by winning a championship with the players they tanked to get?  :D

They still got Ibaka, Reggie wasn't bad last year when he was starting. Could be a lower seed though

Yeah, if they win this year they'll win a championship 8 years after they tanked.  Or they could tank this year because their two best players are out for a couple of months, and guarantee an even longer wait.

Fie on tanking!

Durant/Westbrook and another lottery pick...sounds like the path to success
