Please do not compare KO to Bird. That makes my stomach turn, Bird was one of the top players to ever play, and was basically like a 6'9 point guard. That is all. lol

It's Kelly Olynyk's world.

We are all just living in it.

The boogeyman checks under his bed every night to make sure the Celtics aren't there.

I think he is checking to make sure Marcus Smart isn't there.

so so sick of the national nitwits and the local nitwits  EWP you put KO in the same sentence as Larry Legend You my friend get a Tommy Point 82-0

Speaking of Larry Legend and KO.  Maybe my eyes deceived me, but I thought I saw KO make a Larry-type move going to the hoop...He was driving the lane on the right and I believe he was about to put the ball off to his left hand.  Then, reversed direction and continued right to the hoop uncontested.  Anyone recall the play?  Maybe it was less remarkable than I thought.  None-the-less I was as baffled as the defender who went for the apparent fake.

It was Kelly's most memorable play of the night as he showed something I haven't seen from him before.  He really does need to get more craft/tricky with the ball in his hands to mask his slowness and weakness.   Bird was so in control and so unlikely to lose the ball going to the hoop -- partially because he had such great ball control, but also because he was unpredictable with the ball in his hands.  Kelly tends to telegraph his moves to the hoop giving defenders time to sight the ball and make a move to contact the ball.  He needs to be able to move the ball while he's in flight keeping defenders wary of passes or varied shot possibilities.  The move that you refer to involved a good initial fake as well as a second move with the ball in his hands in the paint.  Good to see.

What about Boston fans chanting KG when KO and him got tangled up in the game?   It was a great game from him and the fans supported KG in that fight.

Oh come on, after what KG did for the C`s he can do no wrong in the garden. Kells is barely out of the rookie status.

KG will go into the HOF wearing green it's no surprise. Dude bleeds green.

As for the team, I thought 35-40 wins before the season and nothing has changed yet. This team has plenty of young talent and good coaching.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Has anyone ever spotted the 95-96 Bulls and this year's Celtics roster in the same place?

Same here. My bookie represents the agency Dewey, Cheatem and Howe.
