Ask Jack Taylor how this works..He scored 138 points in one game....for a lot of the points he cherry picked by design...

138 pts on 108 shots (71 threes? really?) against weak D-II competition isn't that impressive.

"What are we looking for tonight? Well we're looking for records to be broken, most points scored." and so on and so on.

One team that could do this very interestingly is the Cavs.  They have several key components of the type of roster that could make this work:

1.  Best outlet passer in the game - Kevin Love.  He can throw the ball full court on an inbounds off a made basket.

2.  Interior defender - Anderson Varejao.  Would like better, but this kind of player defending the rim is key.

3.  Excellent perimeter defenders who can get some steals in the passing lanes or sneaky blocks from behind - Lebron.  Other excellent candidates in the NBA to fill this role would be Wade or Rondo or Josh Smith.  I don't know enough about Waiters to say if he could do this and I don't think Kyrie could.

Of course the Cavs also have a good enough roster to dominate playing normal basketball, so no way they ever try this.

Ideal roster to do this with:

PG - Rondo
SG - Korver (cherry picker)
SF - Lebron/Josh Smith/Wade
PF - Love
C - Dwight Howard/Andre Drummond/Deandre Jordan

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

Some scrub who obviously didn't get the memo.

But seriously, watch that video, then tell me how this applies to real basketball in any way shape or form.
