This could work.

We just have to work out a way to feed the entire NO front office mind-altering drugs and the deal is as good as done.

Why Boston would do this: Anthony Davis
Why New Orleans would do this: Jeff Gre....Kel....Pillsbury Doughb...picks that could turn into someone like Anthony Da....hmmmmm

Joking aside, maybe this could be a national example of why legalizing marijuana could be bad.

These responses are gold. No chance any team could trade for Davis.

We'll actually that's is not true in the least. You just have to offer enough.   ;D

In any case, this has been a very funny thread.  I laughed at the OP and didn't stop through all the replies.

Seems like an overpay for this guy.

Love it TP..I was going to post something similar!
Also, I didn't realize there's now an NBA franchise around Coolidge Corner.

Seriously though... there is literally no Anthony Davis trade (rondo included or otherwise) that you could make with the Hornets that they'd accept.

If it was financially possible, you would gladly trade your entire team for Anthony Davis.  The ENTIRE team.  Then you have a 21 year old megastar in a big market team and oodles of cap space to build a team around him.

There's just no possible trade you could make.  Also there's the whole issue of Anthony Davis not currently playing on the Hornets.  And if you got this far in my post without realizing that, shame on you.

The best shot is to give Whitey Bulger early parole and ask him to "assist" "behind the scenes" on a "trade" that would be "mutually beneficial".

Also, "dump" Ryan Anderson's contract, really? He is one of their best players and was only averaging 20 ppg last season before he went down.

I shouldn't be replying to this thread, but whatever.

Boston's best, and really only, hope for Anthony Davis is that he chooses to not sign a free agent contract in the summer of 2016, when he's a restricted free agent, and instead takes his 1-year qualifying offer.  He does this because he thinks the rules will change in his favor after a new CBA is negotiated in the summer of 2017.  Then the new CBA eliminates max contracts, to the detriment of most players, and Boston is able to outbid other teams for his services.  If max contracts still exist in the new CBA, I don't see him coming here.

Goodness, Anderson's bounced around in the league for so long that you forget he only just turned 26 years old this year.

Really? He's played for 3 teams in his career and has been on only 2 teams the last 6 seasons.
