Hawks at Charlotte tonight. Hopefully they can make them two games back of us, because they scare me the most of anyone we're competing against.

Char had a heck of OT tussle with the Wiz ...to end only end up short....it will take a lot of moxie to down the Hawks .

Hopefully that would pretty much take them out of the race, too.

Atlanta shut down all there starters against Charlotte. Smh

It's pretty early for that Atlanta would probably rather face them than us in the playoffs hence the starters resting.

Note to Enes Kanter:

Don't run your mouth about the team that was kind enough to draft you - right before you play them - especially if your team needs that win. ;D

Good game by you, but better game by Stifle Tower....no wonder you were let go.

I do seriously wonder if that was the case. We've played them tough in both of our losses to them, and we won one game against them. The Pacers and Nets have lost every game to them, and before tonight Charlotte beat them in one game and got hammered in another. I seriously bet it provided at least a little incentive for them to rest their starters tonight.

I m starting to wonder ....if there is a conspiracy amount the top teams to lock the Celtics out of the playoffs .    They bring all their guns to bare when the Celtics are the opponents ,   but open the door for certain teams to waltz right into the playoffs .

That was pretty much a GIFT game Atlanta gave the Hornets  >:(

Tonight the most unwatchable game on the schedule has a lot of interesting implications on draft status. Philly and Lakers are going at it again. If philly wins they move into a tie with the Lakers for Third worst spot. Since Philly owns the Lakers pick if it is in the top 5 pick, this is a crazy game that could shape the landscape of the NBA the next few years. It literally could end up being a game that cost Philly the chance at having Okafor and Towns versus just Winslow or something crazy like that. Absolute madness!

Lakers by 1 at the half.  Hope that the Lakers win this.  Philly could really end up with a frightening array of options if LA gets nosed out of the top 5 by two lottery winners (one of which must be the C's).   Philly also gets the Heat's pick if they make the playoffs.  Could have 3,5 and 15.  Add to Noel and Embiid --  Yikes.       But mostly, I hope the Lakers win tonight and then get nudged out.

I am only looking at the box score, but it seems like what the Lakers are doing is pretty suspect. Boozer, Davis, Lin, all not playing and Jordan Hill has only gotten 10 minutes. They have played Ryan Kelly 32 minutes so far.

The 76ers have sat Jason Richardson, Mbah a Moute and have played Thomas Robinson only 12 minutes (who though no savior has shown more than Furken Aldimer).

Doesn't sit right..

NBA really needs to do something about the losing on purpose .  Putting this years lottery winners or Losers for faking basketball ethics....should have to go to,the back of,the line the following year at,least ....make,them try and play good basketball.

Excellent. Celtics won, Lakers won, and Bucks lost.

Win/win for Boston!

NBA definitely need to do something. The Lakers' tanking has been so brazen that they're not even coming up with injury excuses, they're sitting healthy big men to 'evaluate their younger players'. They have held out a fully fit Hill a couple of nights ago and tonight it was Davis.

Amazingly Hill did nothing more than toe the company line and said he was OK with it! Who says players and coaches don't tank?

I think the best way to curb this at least would be to bump back their picks a spot or 2 every time teams do this. If their pick after the lottery is 6th then put it back a spot or 2 to 7th or 8th, depending on how many times it's done or how many players it's done with. Not too drastic and would at least encourage teams to lose with their best available players if nothing else.
