 Could be good for both teams, N.O. gets one of the best passers in the league, with championship pedigree, to dish it to A Davic, Anderson, Tyreke, E Gordon,

 Celts get a 24 year old point for the rebuild and acquire yet another young asset that we could keep or flip in a bigger deal. Holiday is a 14ppg 8Apg 4rpg type player. Not bad if we are going to lose Rondo anyway.

I feel like if NO would have wanted Rondo they would have offered us the Nerlens Noel and a pick deal and Danny would have gladly accepted.

Nope. Holiday for Rondo just doesnt seem fair for the Celtics; If they throw in Anthony Davis I'm in.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

I don't think Holiday is a type of player that we can rebuild with. We already have Smart so I'd rather have an impact player in different position.

Yeah I might have gone for that. NO should have as Holiday didn't play particularly well last season.

I wouldn't make the swap. While Holiday is young than Rondo he isn't better and doesn't project to get much better. He's been in the league 5 years and he's had relatively consistent numbers over the past 4. I just like Rondo's fire.

Straight up ? Ainge would never do that. You need to bring 3 commodities like Holiday in order for Ainge to budge. You have to give up a kings ransom.

They didn't just trade away two top 10 lottery picks for a Rondo rental.
