Would you do Bynum+Zeller for Koufos?

Why for Memphis - Improving the back-up PG behind Conley + a reasonable, cheaper back-up still on a 2 year rookie deal behind Gasol.

Boston gets a starting, albeit not great, Center.

I might sweeten it with a 2nd rounder here and there.
"We do so many defensive drills in practice, I come home and I'm putting the press on my woman, denying her the ball.
Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

This deal is not legal unless Memphis has a trade exception with which to absorb Zeller.

Also, this trade would push Memphis into the luxury tax, which is a non-starter for them.

Both of these.

To add. I'd rather see what Zeller can do. I like Koufas but he is a role player on a contender. If we bring him in he doesn't move the needle for us in any direction. Keep Zeller, he cant problem produce just as well as Koufas and maybe devleop into something more. Maybe...

If it was actually legal, I'd absolutely do it.

Koufos is a starting-caliber center (albeit a low end one) and has much more defensive skill than any big on our roster.

Don't see Memphis going for this particular deal.  Koufos has at least proven he can be a starting-caliber center for a 57-win Western Conference team.  Zeller hasn't shown he can be any better than a bench center for bad lottery teams in the East.  Sure, Zeller has potential, but considering they let Ed Davis go, Memphis doesn't seem to be particularly concerned with potential over immediate production at this moment.
