Kind of not a surprise..he is another example of a college kid who should had stay at least 2 more years
The kid was smart. He came out when the hype on him was huge. One more year, never-mind two, would've potentially exposed his weaknesses even more.
He was drafted 10th, a mid-lottery selection, with rumors of going even higher. He did the right thing monetarily, at least for the short-term.
In retrospect, I'm glad we didn't give up anything substantial for him. Since Danny is still in the accumulating assets stage, i'd take a flyer on him if we could get him for cheap, even with all of our guards. It's all about assets. Danny Special: low-risk, high-reward potential.
